Description
We meet again, DeviantART. Have not posted anything in ages, so I thought I would give it a try for old times sake.
Saw a comment a couple days ago, on my last remake of this image. Did not like looking at the remake, because I was unsure whether it really was the remake, or the original (which I made when I was twelve or something), seeing how crappy it was. Oh god, I think I made a pun.
Sorry, did not mean to.
Anyways. I was looking at the image, and I was a little dissapointed in myself. "That... was a remake?" I thought to myself, still flabberghasted by how little I had improved between the original and the remake. I stopped myself from getting too down, however, and thought of batmans words of wisdom: "stop complaining".
I did just that.
And I also decided to see how much I had improved, so I decided to start on this painting yesterday. Would have finished it, but my friends wanted to go to the beach and so did I. I like going to the beach.
The water was a little cold though.
ANYWAYs:
Here it is. Don't quite know why I added that blue frame, but I did. Maybe because there is so much brownish yellow in the painting. A little contrast is always appreciated, right?. I hope so.
Also, thanks to The-Max765 for indirectly giving me a sense of progression.
